A space where you can easily hear yourself

I connect analytical precision and embodied attention to create a space through movement, breath, and awareness, where you can easily hear yourself.

We are all different

But we often share the same inner requests

For those who live a lot in their head and want sensitivity back in the body

For those who are tired of effort, discipline, and self-pressure

For those who want to work gently but deeply

For those who are looking for live practice of attention, not another course

For those who are moving through overload, anxiety, or inner rush

For those who value clarity, stability, and a sense of inner support

Problems

Yes, and our problems are often similar, even when life contexts are very different

Overload became the background

Your mind is always on, and you notice the body only when it is already tired, tight, or sore.

Support slipped away

Even rest does not always restore you - the nervous system stays wired.

You want something different

You want change without strain - through finer attention to movement, breath, and how you are.

Chronic pain

Background or chronic pain gets in the way of living, working, and resting - it drains energy even when you have grown used to it and barely notice it day to day.

Formats

So I offer several formats that can help with these problems

Method

The Feldenkrais Method® works by teaching the nervous system, not by pushing the body

It is a gentle, deep way to grow awareness through movement. It helps the nervous system, brain, mind, and personality learn through sensation - building resilience and adaptability.

In class you do not need to chase results, try harder, or endure. What matters is noticing how you move and discovering easier, more efficient ways to act.

What the Feldenkrais Method® is

A somatic learning method for developing the nervous system and neuroplasticity through unusual, attentive, conscious movement.

What you can learn

The range is wide: from physical ease and graceful movement to deeper awareness, stability, and a new quality of contact with yourself.

How it applies

It is used in rehabilitation, pain care, cognitive development, and as support for a more conscious, adaptive life.

How it works

There are two forms: ATM - Awareness Through Movement® lessons guided by voice, and FI - individual hands-on work tailored to your needs.

How it differs from massage or manual therapy

The focus is learning. The aim is not only temporary relief, but noticing what patterns create discomfort and finding new movements so the issue does not return the same way.

Safety

One of the gentlest approaches: no painful manipulation and no demand for strain. You can pause anytime or even do the movement in imagination.

Where people train

The method is taught worldwide in the Feldenkrais community. Training takes about four years and includes 800+ hours of in-person practice. I train at Feldenkrais Institut Wien.

Why Feldenkrais®

Named after Moshe Feldenkrais - scientist, engineer, and educator - who developed this approach after his own injury. It became a foundation for many modern somatic practices.

For almost a year and a half I have been doing Awareness Through Movement lessons with Yuliya. For me these classes are an exploration of how brain and body interact and a detailed map of connections between the two. They help me cope not only with everyday stress but also with bigger life events, and return to myself faster. ATM lessons gave me a toolkit for slowing down, grounding in the moment, and working with anxiety. Yuliya is a very gentle guide, with a light touch of curious researcher and strong metaphors. I especially value our closing conversations and how she normalizes experience through anatomy and neuroscience. I happily recommend Yuliya as a guide into the Feldenkrais Method® and ATM if you want to explore the less visible sides of body and awareness.

I practiced Feldenkrais Method® with Yuliya for 2+ months in her Hi-Tech Beauty Lab - these were my favorite sessions. I rested deeply and enjoyed fresh bodily sensations. Yuliya is a sensitive, respectful guide with a maximally non-invasive approach: she always invites you to follow sensations and pause if there is even minimal discomfort. Her voice is soothing and safe to follow. Knowing how much care she puts into training and projects, I trust her expertise and recommend her to anyone interested in gentle somatic awareness.

Working with Yuliya on movement awareness through the Feldenkrais Method® has been a fascinating journey. It is surprising that you do not need faster/higher/stronger - you need more awareness and care. It contradicts much of what I did before. A very zen practice: no fixed goal, only a path - yet much shifts along the way. Yuliya is a wonderful, attentive teacher, fully engaged in exploring conscious movement; sessions feel warm and grounded.

I want to share my experience working with Yuliya in the Feldenkrais Method®. I was lucky to enter it with a clean slate - without any prior information or expectations. From the first minutes, Yuliya put me at ease, outlined what was happening, and before each lesson that introductory grounding block helped a lot (for example, information about the lumbar vertebrae - which have the least rotational range, and which approach to turning is more fitting). As the lessons went on, the value of the approach became clear: low-level (almost unconscious) movements and the thoughts that track movement intention work as tools for rewiring both body dynamics and awareness as a whole (hello, neuroplasticity). The practice is very accessible and gentle, and afterwards there is more ease, stability, and control. The lessons themselves, about 20-30 minutes, bring the grounding and resource that feel so necessary now; there is room to analyse your own sensations and calibrate the body for yourself. They can easily stand next to any guilty pleasure (social media, therapy, ...) or become a way to close the workday - for me, for example, after a day working from home. I recommend experiencing lessons with Yuliya to anyone who wants to try: she is a unique master of her craft, and working with her brings deep, lasting changes in movement and wellbeing.

About me

I came to somatics after almost two decades in tech

I am a somatic learning practitioner and Feldenkrais Method® teacher in training, based in Austria. Before somatics, I spent almost two decades in IT: business analysis, digital product leadership, and consulting - from analyst to lead consultant in international companies.

My somatic path began in 2017 with Freedom Dance and Authentic Movement. At some point I wanted to explore not only systems people build, but the human system itself: how we learn, adapt, burn out, and recover.

That led me to the Feldenkrais Method®. I am training at Feldenkrais Institut Wien (2023-2027) and since 2025 I am authorized to teach Awareness Through Movement® lessons. For me this path is not about quick fixes, but maturation, inquiry, and honest presence.

Today I combine analytical precision with embodied attention and create a learning space where you can learn through curiosity rather than survival - exploring movement, breath, attention, thinking, habits, and ways of being in the world.
